Justin Hoffman

Justin Hoffman is a freelance outdoor writer and photographer, with a main focus being on freshwater fishing. A graduate of The North American School of Outdoor Writing since May 2000, Justin is currently a Field Editor for Ontario Out of Doors magazine, as well as on the Pro Staff team for HT Enterprises.

With hundreds of published articles to his name, including such periodicals as Fishing Facts, Outdoor Canada, Real Fishing, Canada's Sportsman, Canadian Sportfishing and Just Fishing, as well as work with Bass Pro Shop and Cabelas, spreading the word of fishing through prose and images is the most satisfying of jobs for this avid angler.

Tournaments played a large part in his life while growing up, and he successfully stepped on to the podium at the age of 17, placing fifth in a Top Bass tournament run out of Pigeon Lake. Gaining entry to the Top Bass Classic that same year was another achievement that added to a successful year of fishing professionally.

Currently residing in Ottawa, Ontario, Justin spends a large part of his time testing new waters while always searching for that ever elusive "honey hole."
