You can board the A.C.R at Sault Ste. Marie and take the seven-hour scenic rail trip through Agawa Canyon all the way to Mile 212.

Or from Sault Ste. Marie take highway 17 North, a three hour drive following the spectacular shore of lake Superior to Wawa. At Wawa take Hwy 101 east for 12 miles until turnoff #547 to Hawk Junction. There, board the train which departs at 3:20 PM for a ninety minutes ride to mile 212. We'll meet you there with our 22 foot passenger boat and a new pontoon barge to transport your gear. After a 10 minute ride you arrive at our camp.

Yet another option is a scenic float plane flight from Hawk Junction. Arrangements can be made through Air Dale or Hawk Air Services. Flight duration is approximately 40 minutes.

A note on train arrival: The parking lot at Hawk Junction is an absolutely safe place to leave your car. Allow some time transferring your luggage to the train. No train reservations are necessary.
