We are located 212 miles north of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. There are two
ways to reach the camp, both include a journey on the legendary Algoma
Central Railway (A.C.R):
You can board the A.C.R at Sault Ste. Marie and take the seven-hour scenic
rail trip through Agawa Canyon all the way to Mile 212.

Or from Sault Ste. Marie take highway 17 North, a three hour drive following
the spectacular shore of lake Superior to Wawa. At Wawa take Hwy 101
east for 12 miles until turnoff #547 to Hawk Junction. There, board the
train which departs at 3:20 PM for a ninety minutes ride to mile 212. We'll
meet you there with our 22 foot passenger boat and a new pontoon barge to
transport your gear. After a 10 minute ride you arrive at our camp.
Yet another option is a scenic float plane flight from Hawk Junction.
Arrangements can be made through Air Dale or Hawk Air Services. Flight
duration is approximately 40 minutes.
A note on train arrival: The parking lot at Hawk Junction is an absolutely
safe place to leave your car. Allow some time transferring your
luggage to the train. No train reservations are necessary. You can purchase
your ticket at the station. For any further information concerning the
railroad contact A.C.R at 1-800-242-9287.
